Dr. Anees Rahman is one of the first group of Unani Doctors in Kerala. He was graduated from HMS Unani Medical college, Tumkur. He had completed his trainings from Govt. Unani Medical College and Hospital Bangalore, National Institute of Unani Medicine, Bangalore and Nizamia Tibbi College in Hyderabad. His training was under the most renowned doctors of India.
He is the General Secretary of Kerala Unani Medical Association (KUMA) which is the government registered body of all the Unani graduates in kerala. He is the author of Memorandum for the Development and progress of Unani System in the Kerala State (in Malayalam and English), Unani oru Laghu Parichayam (Mal)He is the representative of Unani medical Officers in Kerala state.
He is the head of Public relations to the Unani System of medicine in Kerala, having regular and excellent communication with the Health Leaders, Experts in Various Health departments. Within this short period of time, He has conducted and cordinated 231 medical camps and 76 seminars on unani medicine.
His specialization include Rheumatology and Gastro enterolgy. He is also an expert in Allergic manifestation, dermatology, psychology and sexology.
